As we start 2012 many people have New Year resolutions with a focus on your health and wellbeing. Every magazine and newspaper has the latest ideas for how to workout, or exercise.
Personal Touch Fitness recommend our clients’ employees give ‘Exercise a Chance’. Our sites are all running a promotion to encourage employees to give the gym, a class or an activity a chance. We can help. Our staff will ensure you can fit exercise into a hectic lifestyle.
It is not easy but remember the benefits of an in-house gym facility. Being able to exercise at work takes away a common barrier exercise - convenience. All employees can fit in 45 minutes to get to the gym – ask all the CEOs and directors of FTSE companies who regularly use our facilities. It is a ideal opportunity to take a break or refocus your day.
Whilst we start 2012 with good intentions these often fall away and we return to our old ways. Here are a few tips to keep you focused:
Set goals – if you don’t it is a lot harder to get there. Think of what you want to achieve, feel or look like and remind yourself regularly.
Have a program designed – Personal Touch Fitness as your fitness provider is there to help you achieve goals. By discussing and agreeing these, a tailor made program will ensure you are working towards your goal.
Book a program review now – by knowing when your review is you can work towards targets. When you get a review, make sure it suits you and that the fresh approach is going to keep you interested. Take advantage of the knowledge available at your corporate fitness centre.
Try out different classes – different class styles work different muscle groups. Variation in your exercise regime at work does not need to be limited to just the gym. You need to make sure it is fun and you enjoy.
It is difficult when starting off to get into a regular workout routine. By following these steps at your company gym, you can be set on the right track to follow your fitness goals through in 2012 and beyond.
